Simply Complicated is our brand of the day! I felt I needed to get some more streetwear-type tees in our deals, so I wasted no time in contacting these guys — I totally love their clean, hip style. Even better, SC was awesome and gave us a fat 25% off coupon code to share with you, our readers.
I’ve seen “Global View” featured in quite a few places, and for good reason! This shirt kicks ass. Putting aside my pet love for all things space and astronomy-related, this design just makes great use of the tee real estate. The texture laid over the astronaut’s image is fantastic as well.
If that wasn’t enough, Jay-Z was spotted wearing this shirt! That must be a moment of pride for any indie brand, congrats guys!
I also want to point out SC’s excellent logo shirts. (On that note, I’m working on a post re. well-designed logo tees — watch for it soon!) This is everything I love about a good logo shirt — it’s minimalistic, works as a design, and doesn’t shove branding in the viewer’s face. Of course, it helps that SC have themselves one fine logo — those twisting, intertwining curves just look plain awesome on a shirt. I also dig the metal (?) texture, which contrasts nicely with the organic curves.
Both of these shirts are available on secondary colorways (purple for “Global View”, dark red for the logo tee), but all but the larger sizes are sold out
