I really liked “Join or Die” the moment I saw it — this is a neat modern, hardcore take on the classic “join or die” image from the American Revolution. There’s a lot of movement and energy in this design; you can almost see the snake wriggling on the tee! The simple white-on-black colorway also works quite well for the art.
This “Hootlife” tee is actually a remake of an older shirt, which had a brown color scheme. I liked that version a lot too, but there’s something striking about this gray and black colorway. The owl pops a lot more, and looks quite menacing! I love how the title of the piece/the brand name is subtly integrated into the owl’s claws, as well as the little smilie faces in his eyes!
As regular readers know, I’m not a big fan of blatantly branded tees. However, I couldn’t help but like “Abstract“, an aptly-named tee in the delightful mint colorway. Here, the HOTLIFE name is broken down into criss-crossing lines — against the mint background, the logo looks especially stylish. The large print is great, too; it helps the logo pop and work to its best effect.
