I just caught this bad boy over at Emptees, and I have to say, it’s a terrific starting tee for a new line. Yes, it’s Science Friction’s only shirt right now, but it’s cool enough that I’ll excuse them for that. Designer Adam Vaudin put a great twist on the horror/gore art style here by adding lots of loopy shapes and lines and a touch of surrealism. I love the black/red/white color scheme, which always looks awesome when done right; even better, the white is a sort of reddish off-white that works wonderfully with the bright scarlet accents. My favorite thing about this design, though, is the amazing texture. The cross hatching in the wolf’s body adds a ton of interest without detracting from the overall piece.
Of course, there are few things not to love about a wolf-astronaut to begin with, but I digress. This shirt is printed on Tultex and is available for $20 plus shipping. I’d totally buy one if it was available in women’s sizes. (Not again!)
I’m definitely looking forwards to what this new brand has coming. I’ll be keeping an eye on them in the months to come.

Halloween is putting me in the mood for creepier tees, so when SciFri offered its followers a 30% off coupon, I took the bait and purchased their Space Wolf tee, which I’ve had my eye on for a while: [...]
