Remember Brass Tack? (Click here for the feature I did on this brand.) Well, I just received my package from them the other day (thanks Joshua!) and I have to say, the tees look just as great in person as they do on the site. Let’s take a closer look, shall we?
The Shirts
I picked “Noctua” in black and “Saber“, respectively. Both of these shirts are unbelievably soft, being made of 50/50 poly cotton and tri-blend fabric — perfect for the summer weather. The prints look incredible; they’re sharp and detailed. The ink is lightweight and doesn’t feel too heavy or scratchy compared to the fabric; in fact, you can barely feel it at all. I could keep going, but I think you get the point: these are quality t-shirts.
The little details are great too, which include a printed neck label and a custom sewn tag on the sleeve. These professional touches help give that “premium” feel, not that this brand needed much to push it to that level.
If that wasn’t enough, the shirts came packaged with a plethora of extras. I got two mini prints on high-quality board paper, candy, and four stickers featuring various Brass Tack designs. (These are now plastered all over my computer and external drive.) You can see how Brass Tack took that extra step to make the customer experience a good one. (Sorry for the crappy photo quality, I had to take these with my phone camera.)
Shipping and Service
Brass Tack handles its shipping and service through Merchline, so I can’t really comment on that (not to mention I received these shirts for free — thanks again! — so there isn’t much I can say about customer service). The shirts came packaged in a Merchline-branded bag, and each tee was sealed in its own plastic bag. Good packaging; not much more anyone could ask for!
Closing Thoughts
I knew from first glance that Brass Tack was a quality brand, and their product thoroughly supports that impression. Do not hesitate to order from them!
