I’m going to try to spread out the Exclusive Deals posts — yes, we have even more coming! — over the next couple of days, so that I have the room to blog about some of the cool tees and sales that have been popping up. Also, so that you guys can get some variety in your feed. 
Today’s feature is Prestigious, a clothing brand that bills itself as “vegan-friendly.” At almost two years old, Prestigious has been around for a bit and it’s immediately apparent that these guys know what they’re doing. All of their products are ethically produced in the United States with a “DIY ethic.”
Indeed, there is something comfortably homegrown about Prestigious’ designs, particularly some of their older ones, where watercolors, drawings, and text combine to create beautiful art. A particularly amazing example of this is “Pretty Ghost”.
I pretty much like everything about this shirt. The complementary color palette shines here — the girl’s sickly visage contrasts yet blends with the swirling red paint, which could represent blood, tears, or something spiritual. This is the kind of image you’d expect to see on an art print, not a shirt, but as a piece of clothing it works beautifully. And at only $15, it’s cheap! (Plus it’s printed on American Apparel, and still available in most men’s and women’s sizes!)
Prestigious’ newest line has less of a painterly style, but maintains the brand’s elegance and “natural” feel. I find it difficult to pick a favorite shirt, so I might as well just post all three which caught my eye.
If you’ve been following Tee-Junc for a while, you’ll know that I tend to dislike logo tees, especially logo tees with the brand’s name slapped right across the chest. This one passes the “What Ivy Would Wear” test, though, since it’s so clean and elegant that I can’t help but adore it. The slate tee is a plus.
Another example of a tee I normally wouldn’t wear, there’s something quite attractive about the black ink brush-like strokes that make up the text on this tee. It looks great against the bright turquoise fabric, too.
Photo tees are love, and this one certainly is love. Super beautiful photography, and great logo placement as well.
