Crywolf is a Canadian indie brand that focuses on women’s tees and accessories, though that isn’t to say they don’t print guys’ tees as well! The designs are cute and lighthearted, and were created by a duo with backgrounds in the arts. They come on a variety of garments, from t-shirts to long-sleeved shirts, to sweaters to hoodies, often on bright or pastel colors. If that wasn’t enough, Crywolf embraces the DIY spirit by hand-printing all of their products.
Here’s a bit from their “About” page, which nicely summarizes what the brand is all about:
In short, the Crywolf vision is a mishmash of our strange, fantastic, quirky and whimsical ideas. The main concept behind Crywolf is producing limited edition, collectable, wearable and affordable pieces of art. All of our designs are based on our drawings which we often collaborate on and our clothing is hand-printed by us. A strong DIY attitude has fueled our work ethic and been our driving force. Our inspiration comes from artists and crafts people who strive to do what they love, do it themselves, and make a living out of it.
This is my favorite design from their new line, “Wolfe“. It’s super-cute but very well drawn — I like the little white trees encircling the character. Guys can also nab one.
Girls can also get “Chloe“, a v-neck design with a similar concept to the “Wolfe” shirt above. The pale peach color is light and feminine, and the little reindeer graphic is just adorable. If you’re a female t-shirt fan looking for something a little more womanly, this might be your thing.
