tshirt day is coming, who wants to take part?

June the 21st may or may not have escaped your memory as a significant day last year, but this year my friend – it will not. If it does I have failed you, and I will not fail you sir….

What is June 21st?

International t-shirt day.

Obviously you know that we here at Tee-Junction are passionate about t-shirt, they are art for the everyday, affordable by all. We know you are also passionate about them because you come here to read what we write, you probably collect them or you work in the industry. This year lets all band together and have one whole day where we can celebrate the genius that is the moving billboard of self-expression and creativity, we call the humble t-shirt. If we do it right in future years people well outside of our niche interest will know on June 21st that it is tshirt day, just as last week they knew it was “Towel day” and today no doubt its “hug a Russian a day” or something.

Starting next week, the 1st of June to be exact will begin 21 days of Romanesque tshirt related games and celebrations held here and at various other online tshirt blogs and tshirt stores building up to the big day itself.

We already have some big names signed up to take part that will remain under wraps for now, but this is a plea to any tshirt sites or blogs that want to

- host a daily contest

- offer a daily prize

- organize a activity/sale/coupon/promotion for tshirt day itself
