The Ryde, makers of original surf inspired tees are holding a “Charitee” design competition to help spread awareness about ocean resources and the issues the involve arguably our most important natural resource, water. The Ryde teamed up with Coastal CODE, an environmental group started by the Alaskan Brewing Company.
The submission deadline for this contest is June 8, 2009. The tee design must include the slogan: “Making a Difference One Beer at a Time” and should relate to some of the following themes: the ocean, surfing, beer, nature, waves, etc. For every T-Shirt sold, the Alaskan Brewing Company will donate $5 directly to the Coastal CODE fund.
