I’m not a very “urban” or “street” person, so the general style of Karmaloop’s offerings isn’t my thing, but they do have some attractive tees that draw me there anyway. One such shirt is “The Bolt”, a design by the brand Lira Clothing. This tee features an all-over print of a huge lightning bolt striking a city. I love the placement (especially the way the white glow wraps around the neck of the girls’ tee!) and stark monochromatic color scheme, which makes for a showy but still very elegant piece. It’s a great way to turn heads without wearing a bazillion different neon colors on your chest, and I could easily see myself dressing up this tee for a party.
And if the tried-and-true white-on-black doesn’t suit your fancy, there are several variations, including a cheaper “Bolt 2″ tee with more strongly-defined bolts and glowy highlights in red or blue. Girls get a special deep v-neck also available in black-on-white and black-on-lavender.
