Fans of Rockett Clothing will want to get on this deal — they’re selling a bunch of their misprinted all-over sublimated tees for only $5 bucks and a reasonable fee for shipping. Check out this blog post for more info. I’ve looked over the photos and the flaws look to be pretty minimal, maybe even downright unnoticeable. If you like zombie/horror shirts and are looking for something a little more unusual, you’ll dig these. And if you don’t like zombies/horror, you may like their spooky, ethereal “Ghost Girl” shirt, which features a full-sized photographic print.
Pretty neat stuff. Note that these shirts won’t be shipping out until after Christmas, so don’t bother getting them as presents unless you don’t mind belated gift-giving.
While I’m at it, I might as well give some show time to the second half of Rockett’s Winter 09 line, which came out a few weeks ago. Unlike the first half, which included the sublimated shirts from the $5 sale, these designs are mostly collage-style pieces with bold graphics or color, or both. There’s also a hefty selection of hoodies if you want to stay warm — the one-color design above is especially cool. It even includes a hood print! Sadly, none of these items come in women’s sizes.
My favorite of the new tees is “Statue“, which also comes in a hoodie version with a pink/orange fade in the background. Artist The Worksteady has traditionally produced really cool shirts for Rockett, and he most certainly delivers with this neat oversized piece.
