I think the US should have a Red Nose Day equivalent! It sounds like so much fun and is for a great cause. If you’re not familiar with Red Nose Day, basically, people do funny things to help raise money to fight poverty in the UK and abroad. This year, Red Nose Day will take place on March 13, you can find all the information that you need about this charitable cause here – they even give you tips on some things you can do to help the cause!
Since this is a site about T-Shirts, I’ve got to highlight a brilliant tee designed by Stella McCartney for Red Nose Day 2009. The tee itself features a photograph of The Beatles taken by the late Linda McCartney. You’ll notice that the band members each have the signature Red Nose Day nose. When I was a kid (in the UK) Red Nose day was great fun, you had a red nose, other kids had a red nose, you raised money for charity by doing silly things like sponsored silences, or jelly eating contests. Then they'd have a whole evening on tv of celebrities and skits and you could watch and laugh. All warm from the glow of having raised money for charity. Happy days.
