Jeff Sheldon, the typography master who runs Ugmonk, has just released four new products along with a 10% off coupon and a charity initiative — every shirt purchased goes towards a hot meal for a child in need. The new items include two pullover hoodies, which are sure to help you keep warm this December. (Though, for some reason, we are still getting 60° F temperatures here in New York of all places…)
I really like the new tees, which embody the Ugmonk style in all its minimalistic classiness. “There’s More To Life” is a straightforward type tee with a message to live by; “Two Are Better Than One” is a classic Ugmonk design on a new Forest-colored blank. I like this version more than the older brown one — the more neutral, dark green hue works much better with the style, in my opinion.
The hoodies feature the same design, another classic called “Lowercase“, which has seen a long life as a tee. Now it’s available in the same white/black colorways on pullover hoodies (left). Though personally, I’d rather just go for the hoodie rendition of the famous design, “And Then I Woke Up” (right). The zip hoodie it’s printed on is one of the softest, coziest sweatshirts I’ve ever owned.
As a small bonus, you can visit the Ugmonk blog to read about the design process behind the creation of “There’s More To Life”.
