As the sales start flooding in, it becomes obvious that some are fairly lame while others are awesome enough to deserve a highlight post on the blog. Compared to the many stores that are selling their shirts for less than $12, Design By Humans‘ holiday sale doesn’t seem like much — all shirts are $12, $15, or $17 until November 30th, with most of their coolest, more recent shirts being $17 — but even that is a pretty hefty ~30% savings on the original $25.

This gorgeous number (and DBH 10k runner-up) is called “Journey to the City of No Horizon” and is one of my top DBH picks of all time. They even reprinted it in mens’ sizes only for this sale! (No love for the ladies?) However, bear in mind — and I can attest to this — that the print does not look as spectacular as it does on the models, thanks to the wonders of Photoshop. “The Lost Gondolier” is another incredible all-over print that, coincidentally, also involves boating on a river. The water patterns on this tee are just beautiful and add a touch of elegance to the piece. The darker colors and more subdued style may be preferable for some. Since this shirt is relatively new, the ladies’ sizes are still present and accounted for — a good thing, since I think this design works particularly well on the women’s tee. (I’m loving how the waves continue onto the sleeves.)
Finally, if all-over prints aren’t your thing, check out “dark side of the firework“. This piece just screams “art” with the flowing, ink-like shapes interspersed with splashes of watercolor. Really, really beautiful. And it’s only $15!
