Bo M aka Tee Head is the winner of Teedirectorys participation prize this month.
The contest was a great success and we’ve been pretty astounded by all the comments and deals you’ve submitted. In fact we now have over 200 reviews, coupons and special offers submitted (although I should note theres a new Karmaloop coupon released every 15mins so that’s a fair chunk of that 200
, and its becoming a really useful resource. It’s no great surprise that Bo’s name came up, having submitted more than three times as many reviews/deals/coupons as anyone else (by my count 27)!
1. So you’ve been submitting like crazy to the Tee Directory this month, more than 3 times as many reviews and special as anyone else. How have you found using the site and what could we do to improve it/get the word out?
I definitely love using the site. I love how it integrates store reviews with coupons and deals. It’s pretty simple to use, and I like that you tweet about new additions to the page. In terms of getting the word out, I think that twitter is a great way to promote the directory. Perhaps letting companies that you have on your page tweet about it as well may help bring in more traffic. Then more people can benefit from this directory!
2. You’re now pretty flush with Threadless currency, which shirts will be first on your shopping list?
Thank you, thank you! I’m thrilled to be able to splurge on some Threadless tees. It’s been a while since I’ve made a purchase and so many tees have come out since then. I’ve just put “Super Mega Fun” (very awesome and perfect for the summertime!), “A Coat of Techni-Color,” and “Introduction to Molecular Bonding” in my cart. There’s plenty more to choose from, and I’m excited to look through the store!
3. Who is your favourite t-shirt designer/all time favourite shirt?
I love the styles of many different t-shirt designers, but some of my favorite designers are Jimiyo, Philip Tseng, and Recycledwax.
My favorite t-shirt of all time has got to be “Wingtips” at Threadless. I got it during its first run (back when tees were still FOTL!) and I’ve worn it so many times. It’s simple, but it combines my love for t-shirts and sneakers.
4. Share with us an entertaining fact of trivia about yourself that we absolutely wouldn’t already know, and absolutely would find fascinating!
Trivia….hmm, well I don’t know how fascinating this may be, but I’ve never climbed a tree before in my life. I completely just skipped over that part of growing up. Although I’m almost 22 now, I might just give it a try one day…
Same thing next month, one lucky contributor to the directory will win a great prize (which I’ll announce soon, I think it will be la Fraise vouchers next month for a change)
