Aside from the $10 deal, the real highlight is today’s new shirts and reprints. After last week’s mostly lackluster showing, I’m happy to say that I will be pouncing on at least two of these tees. One of my must-buys is a shirt I’ve been waiting forever to see a reprint of, “The Food Chain“. A must-have for any fan of zombies or Olly Moss’ incredible graphic design work.
My other pick is “Secret Garden“, a design which I suspect will sell out quickly (a la “The Last Day of Pegasus“, which I waited too long to buy! Argh!). The contrast between the shades of gray and brilliant color is what makes this design pop, in addition to the beautiful detail and texture found in the background buildings and the trees in the garden.
There’s also “Honey Moon“, a gorgeously-rendered pun shirt; “King of the Arctic“, which depicts the epic battle between a polar bear and an orca whale; “Memento Mori“, a piece which seems more like classic Victorian art than a t-shirt design. Of course, I can’t foget “It’s Such a Boring City“, an incredible oversized print from the end of last week. It’s clear that lately, Threadless has been spoiling those of us who like more artistic designs.
