Day 3 of the 12 days of t-shirts: Up to 40% off at ChopShop and Threadless Give-Away Question 3

Up to 40% off at Chop Shop codes, plus swag bag question three.

Long-time readers of this blog, and my old one (hiphipuk.co.uk) will know I’m a big Chop Shop fan and I’ve written plenty about them (see Chop Shop category archive) so I’m delighted that they kindly agreed to be shop 3 in the 12 days promotion, offering up a batch of one day only coupon codes for you.

Lets look at what’s on offer:

You can 40% off all these shirts, both mens and womens. The codes are (from left to right)

1. For Internet Meme’s – use memeM40 and memeW40 (M for male, W for womens)

2. For Master Control – use master40

3. For Rock n Roll – use rocknM40 and rocknW40

So after the coupon they’ll be reduced from $23 to approx $14

The following two shirts have 30% off

1. For 30% off Design Nerd (already reduced to $15) – use nerdM30 (no coupon code for womens due to low quantities)

2. For 30% off Rebel Rock – use rebelM30 and rebelW30

My husband and I are getting all ready to decorate the Christmas tree so I decide this hoody would be the most appropriate to wear. We end up have serious issues with the lights though. After we get 3 strands on we realize the 4 strand doesn't work and when we go to the store there is nothing to match what is on the tree. So everything comes off to start over. My husband looks at my hoody and says "Nothing could have been more appropriate than that today." I certainly had to laugh at the truth and I'll be sure to make a different wardrobe choice next time I tackle a Christmas tree!

I wore M for Monkey one time and this PETA lady at the store commented about it. She said she loved it and it portrays all the cruel things we do to monkeys in labs and all that stuff...Definitely not my take on the shirt haha. She then assumed I was vegetarian and asked what animal liberation groups I belong to and all this PETA talk. I just laughed and walked away. >_<

I've had some good comments over the past but I gotta mention two of the best. The first is when I wore pandamonium from threadless (http://www.threadless.com/product/178/Pandamonium)
one of my co-workers asked me, before even saying hello, "Does that shirt represent your secret desire to hug a panda?" I had no idea how to react, so i just said.."Maybe?". The other reaction I love is when I wear Biggie Was Right (http://www.threadless.com/product/831/Biggie_Wa...) I work with some older folk, some may say a little..unhip...but when they read this shirt they always read it aloud, "More Money, MOre Problems?" Then I ask if they knew the Notorious BIG song, to which they reply "No". but it's always hilarious to hear older folk say More Money More Problems especially when they're making 8x the amount of $$$ i'm making heheh

I was wearing Chinese Peaches (http://www.threadless.com/product/449/Chinese_P...) and my sister who was 20 at the time mind you, not a little kid, asked me why I had naked sumo wrestler girls humping peaches on my shirt! She then proceeded to tell me I was so weird.

I was wearing the threadless tee, pillow fight, http://www.threadless.com/product/258/Pillow_Fight and the cashier at the grocery store squealed, pointed at my shirt and said,
aww, kitties!
i laughed and said,
no, they're pillows, ya know, like a pillow fight.
she shook her head and said,
no. those are the cutest kitties in the whole world.
so i just said,
uh, yes. yes they are...

i have no idea what she was on.

another that comes to mind, i was wearing the luckythreadz/loiter tee, Clash of the Titans, http://www.luckythreadz.com/product_info.php?cP... i'd gone in to pick up a pizza and the kid behind the counter freake out. he made everyone working come over and look at my shirt. the whole time laughing and pointing.
finally he rings me up and says,
man, that is a kick ass shirt.
by this point i just wanted to pay for my pizza and leave as everyone waiting behind me was staring and i imagine getting annoyed. he never did ask where i got it, but i did get 5 bucks of my pizza...

I was at some renaissance fair wearing one of those "1up" mushroom shirts, from super mario, and when I first walked in some guy (working there I guess) kept on following me around harassing me to give up the "mushroom" for some "magical concoction". Holy crap, this got popped out of trees and stuff, me and my friends found it hilarious throughout the whole day. Funniest part was when I found him on his lunch break. He literally said "Hey man, I get paid enough to do this, so let me have a break and eat." I honestly had no idea they paid people to stalk mushroom shirted people.

This isn't exactly a comment but,
I was walking down the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, CO, when a completely trashed trust fund hippy grabbed my Living in Harmony hoodie and kept saying it was "the best shirt ever." I was eventually able to push her away and escape, but my friends still make fun of it when I wear Living in Harmony
